Weekend preview

There's a huge weekend of football coming up across the SPFL, including derby matches at Ibrox and Tannadice...

Ladbrokes Premiership
Rangers and Celtic meet at Ibrox on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon. Both sides have maximum points so far, with Celtic top on goal difference. All four Old Firm games in last season's Premiership were won by the home team. Livingston are the only other side in the top flight still unbeaten and they host a St Mirren side who have been involved in three 1-0 results - a win and two defeats.

Aberdeen and Ross County are level on four points as they prepare to meet at Pittodrie. It's also been a mixed start for Motherwell and Hibernian, who go head to head at Fir Park, while Hearts are looking for their first victory when they host Hamilton Accies at Tynecastle. St Johnstone and Kilmarnock - who are the other teams yet to win - clash at McDiarmid Park.

Ladbrokes Championship
Leaders Dundee United welcome Dundee to Tannadice for the first derby in the Championship since 1995/96. The Friday night fixture is live on BT Sport at 7.45pm. Also this evening is the meeting of Inverness CT and second-placed Morton, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm. There are three matches on Saturday - Arbroath welcome Dunfermline Athletic to Gayfield, Partick Thistle take on Ayr United at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill and Queen of the South are at home to bottom club Alloa Athletic.

Ladbrokes League 1
Raith Rovers are the early leaders, with three wins from four, but are likely to be tested when they make the short journey to play unbeaten East Fife. Title favourites Falkirk are two points off the pace going into Saturday's match away to Airdrieonians while third-placed Forfar Athletic take on Clyde at Station Park. Bottom club Montrose are at home to Dumbarton and Peterhead make the long journey to Stranraer.

Ladbrokes League 2
Cove Rangers are a point clear at the top as they prepare to play unbeaten Queen's Park at the Balmoral Stadium while second-placed Edinburgh City go to Elgin City. Annan Athletic take on Stenhousemuir at Galabank while Cowdenbeath and Brechin City meet at Central Park. Stirling Albion, who are the only SPFL side without a point, travel to Coatbridge to play Albion Rovers.
