Weekend preview

Celtic, Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers top their respective divisions going into this weekend's games...

Celtic are bidding for a seventh straight win in the Ladbrokes Premiership when they face Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday, live on BT Sport at 12.30pm, with the sides also paired together in the Betfred Cup semi-finals. It's second against third at Ibrox as Rangers take on Aberdeen while Motherwell, in fourth spot, are away to bottom club St Johnstone. St Mirren host Hearts, with both teams having won just once in the Premiership this season. Kilmarnock have the chance to move level on points with Ross County when they play the Staggies at Rugby Park while Hamilton Accies have the chance to do likewise against Livingston.

Dundee United lead the Ladbrokes Championship on goal difference going into Saturday's home game with Morton while second-placed Ayr United, who have Sandy Stewart in caretaker charge, travel to Arbroath. Third-placed Inverness CT take on bottom club Partick Thistle in the Highland capital while Dunfermline Athletic welcome Alloa Athletic to East End Park. The action gets under way on Friday evening when Queen of the South face Dundee at Palmerston, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm.

The top three in Ladbrokes League 1 are separated by just a point after seven fixture rounds. Leaders Raith Rovers travel to Station Park to play Forfar Athletic and it's third against second at the Falkirk Stadium, where the Bairns entertain East Fife. Airdrieonians, just outside the play-offs places, are at home to a Stranraer team who have the poorest defensive record in the division. Dumbarton host a Clyde side just a point below them in the table and bottom club Montrose, still without a win, face Peterhead at Links Park.

Cove Rangers hold a three-point lead at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 as they prepare to welcome Annan Athletic to the Balmoral Stadium. Second-placed Edinburgh City play Queen's Park at Ainslie Park and in-form Cowdenbeath take on Albion Rovers at Central Park. Bottom club Brechin City have home advantage against Elgin City and there's a local derby as Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir meet at Forthbank.
