Weekend preview

There's a full card of games in the SPFL this weekend, with matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday...

Celtic have a one-point lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership going into the weekend. Neil Lennon's side are away to Livingston on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon, while second-placed Rangers host Hamilton Accies later that afternoon. Third-placed Motherwell are on a run of four wins in five as they prepare to welcome Premiership lowest scorers St Mirren to Fir Park in one of four Saturday matches. Aberdeen, in fourth, face Hibernian at Pittodrie, Hearts go up against Kilmarnock at Tynecastle and Ross County are at home to bottom club St Johnstone.

The Ladbrokes Championship action kicks off on Friday evening when bottom club Alloa Athletic welcome leaders Dundee United to the Indodrill Stadium, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm. Ayr United, second only on goal difference, are at home to third-placed Inverness CT and Dundee host Arbroath, with just a point separating the sides. Partick Thistle will go above Queen of the South if they beat the Doonhamers at Firhill and Dunfermline Athletic have the same incentive when they travel to Greenock to play Morton.

It's the Ladbrokes League 1 leaders against the title favourites as Raith Rovers entertain Falkirk at Stark's Park. Unbeaten East Fife, who sit second, are at home to a Stranraer side who have the poorest defensive record in the division. Clyde have climbed to fourth spot ahead of their home game against Montrose, who beat Peterhead last week but remain bottom. The Blue Toon are up against Airdrieonians at Balmoor and Dumbarton host Forfar Athletic, with only two points between those four clubs.

SPFL top scorers Cove Rangers are three points clear in Ladbrokes League 2 going into Saturday's match against Stenhousemuir at Ochilview. Cowdenbeath, in third, are on a five-game winning streak as they get set to play second-placed Edinburgh City at Central Park. The top three are clear of the pack, with only four points between the final play-off place and bottom spot. Albion Rovers face Elgin City at the Reigart Stadium, Brechin City and Stirling Albion meet at Glebe Park and it's Queen's Park against Annan Athletic at Hampden.
