Weekend preview

A look ahead to this weekend's games in the SPFL...

cinch Premiership
The first game of the weekend takes place on Saturday lunchtime when Dundee United play Rangers, live on Sky Sports. St Mirren host Heart of Midlothian in the other Saturday fixture. There are four matches on Sunday after a good night for SPFL clubs in Europe on Thursday. Celtic welcome Dundee to Celtic Park, Hibernian take on Ross County at Easter Road, Aberdeen make the journey to Livingston and St Johnstone entertain Motherwell at McDiarmid Park.

Title favourites Kilmarnock travel to Dumfries to take on Queen of the South while Inverness CT play Raith Rovers in the Highland capital and Dunfermline Athletic go up against Partick Thistle at East End Park. It's Ayr United v Arbroath at Somerset Park and Hamilton Accies welcome Morton to New Douglas Park.

Montrose are one of three sides who won on the opening day and they host Clyde in their second fixture. Joint leaders Dumbarton face Airdrieonians at the C&G Systems Stadium and Peterhead travel to Falkirk. It's flag day for Queen's Park against Cove Rangers at Firhill while Alloa Athletic are at home to East Fife.

Stirling Albion and Kelty Hearts square up at Forthbank, with both having won their opening games. Albion Rovers play Stenhousemuir at the Reigart Stadium and Forfar Athletic face Edinburgh City at Station Park. Cowdenbeath are at home to Elgin City and Stranraer meet Annan Athletic at Stair Park.
