Elgin City boss Barry Wilson is hoping to keep Marvin Andrews at Borough Briggs for a longer period, with Jamie Duff set to be out for a month with a knee injury.
The former Rangers defender, who was with Forfar last season, starred as a trialist for Elgin at the weekend in their 1-0 win over East Fife.
Wilson said: “Jamie will be out for another four weeks at least and it would be good to have Marvin as an option during that time. He came up and helped us out at the weekend as a favour to me but I am not sure how often I can ask him to do that.
“Marvin not only brings experience to our team but he allows Mark Nicolson to play in midfield and that makes us a better team. We are away to East Stirling on Saturday and hopefully he can be involved in that game as well.”
