Hibernian extended their lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship to six points after winning 1-0 away to Dumbarton on Saturday.
Kris Commons got the only goal after 14 minutes at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium as Hibs got the better of Stephen Aitken’s men.
Dundee United lost ground in the title race but fought back to draw 3-3 with Queen of the South at Tannadice. Simon Murray scored early on but Stephen Dobbie, Joe Thomson and Dom Thomas all netted for Queens before Scott Fraser and Murray rescued a point for the home side.
Third-placed Morton earned a 2-0 win over Raith Rovers at Cappielow thanks to goals from Ross Forbes and Lawrence Shankland.
Falkirk, in fourth spot, were held to a 1-1 draw by Ayr United. Gary Harkins gave the visitors the lead but Peter Grant equalised for the Bairns.
Dunfermline Athletic drew 1-1 with bottom club St Mirren at East End Park. Kallum Higginbotham gave the Pars the lead from the penalty spot but Gary MacKenzie levelled right after half-time.
