Falkirk may have lost 2-0 to Rangers last Friday night however the club’s Technical Director Alex Smith reckons that the night was still a winner.
Smith said: “Of course it was disappointing to lose however if you look at the bigger picture it was a good night for Falkirk and for football. It was our first Friday night fixture and we had a full stadium which was fantastic.”
“The game received a lot of exposure and was live on TV so it was a really big occasion. We will definitely look to have more Friday night fixtures in the football.”
