Albion Rovers player/manager Darren Young has been ruled out until the New Year after undergoing surgery last Thursday.
The 36-year-old, who has been out of action since October, underwent a double hernia operation and is now on the mend.
Young said: “The problem had been troubling me for a while so I had to go for surgery. I should be back in training in early January and looking to get playing again quickly after that.”
