Alloa Athletic have announced that their former goalkeeper Adam Hodge passed away last Friday. Hodge was between the sticks at Recreation Park from 1961 to 1969 after signing from Blairhall Colliery and he made over 250 appearances for the club before being released.
Only Ronnie Lowrie has made more first team appearances as a shot-stopper for the club and Hodge was one of only twenty players that have made over 200 appearances for the Wasps since the Second World War
A club spokesperson said, “Adam was a great servant to Alloa and everyone at the club sends his family their condolences at this time.”
