Stranraer midfielder Chris Aitken has been ruled out for a further month after aggravating the ankle injury he first suffered against Brechin in December.
The 34-year-old was closing in on a comeback and joined in with the Blues players as they warmed up for their recent game with Arbroath but his ankle then swelled up.
Stranraer manager Stevie Aitken, Chris’ brother, said: “It was looking good for Chris being available about now as he trained full out before the Arbroath game. However, the reaction to that has not been good and he is back to light training again for the time being.”
