Stranraer midfielder Chris Aitken went for a scan yesterday to try and get to the root cause of the ankle injury that has kept him out since mid-December.
The 34-year-old had started training last month but broke down when he was on the verge of a return and manager Stephen Aitken is unsure when he will be back.
The Stair Park boss said: “Chris needs to go and get his ankle checked out further as his setback was extremely disappointing. We are not sure if he will be able to help us push for promotion which is disappointing as he adds a lot of quality to our midfield.”
