Alloa Athletic travel to Perth on Sunday to take on Livingston in the final of the Petrofac Training Cup.
The Wasps brushed aside Arbroath 4-1 at Gayfield in Round 1. Stephen Simmons opened the scoring early on with a stunning strike from outside the box. Greig Spence then followed up with a second-half hat-trick before the hosts netted a consolation with a minute to go.
Next up for Alloa was a trip to play local rivals Stirling Albion at Forthbank. Spence netted a second-half double to put the visitors out of sight. Darren Lee Smith scored late on for Stirling but Alloa managed to hold out for the win.
It took an 89th minute header from Ryan McCord to see off League One Morton 1-0 at Cappielow in the quarter finals.
Alloa went on to host Rangers at the Indodrill in what turned out to be a semi-final cup classic. Goals from Dean Shiels and Kenny Miller gave Rangers the advantage.
Spence netted with just under 20 minutes remaining before McCord popped up to level the tie just two minutes later.
With a minute left, Spence found himself unmarked inside the Rangers box and fired a low shot past Steve Simonsen to complete an incredible comeback and book his side a spot in the final.
