Queen’s Park midfielder David Anderson, who broke his scoring duck for the Spiders at the weekend after 89 games when he netted in the 1-1 Scottish Cup draw with Stranraer on Saturday is facing a fitness test to play in the replay.
The former Kilbirnie Ladeside player went off injured not long after hitting home his first senior goal when he picked up a leg injury and Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said, “Everyone connected with Queen’s Park was delighted to see David score as he has been great since he joined and all that has been missing has been a goal. Unfortunately he picked up a leg injury shortly afterwards but we got to work on him quickly and we are hoping that he will be okay for this weekend.”
“He has had injuries before and bounced back really quickly and hopefully that will be the case again.”
