Annan are facing an anxious wait to find out the extent of the ankle injury that midfielder Josh Todd suffered against Queen’s Park last Saturday.
The 19-year-old former Carlisle United player was sent to hospital after his side’s 1-0 win but a full diagnosis could not be given due to the swelling and he missed out when the sides met again on Tuesday night.
Manager Jim Chapman said: “Josh took a sore one and we do not know what the extent of the damage is. Hopefully, it will not be too bad as we have got ourselves into a really challenging position in the league and we need a full squad available.”
