Annan Athletic have lost out on bringing a second Carlisle United youngster over the border to join them after defender Brandon Gwinnutt opted to join Windsor Foodservice Central Midlands Football League side Mickleover Royals.
Galabank boss Jim Chapman was keen to bring in the 18-year-old who had spent the first part of this season at Penrith Town in to join former team-mate Josh Todd.
However the move stalled when the Brunton Park side opted to release Gwinnutt as opposed to send him out on loan and the stopper opted to move closer to his Derby home.
