Dumbarton’s growing Youth Development programme has produced another player for manager Jim Chapman’s first team squad. Six foot four inch 17 year old centre back Liam Mushet has been promoted to the Sons’ first team squad after successful appearances in freindlies against Annan, Queen’s Park and Oxford United.
Strathclyde Homes Stadium manager Chapman said, “Liam was one of the three Dumbarton players who featured in the Scottish Schools team last season and he is a bright prospect.”
