Montrose climbed into the top four after beating play-off rivals East Fife 2-0 at Bayview but Airdrieonians went down 1-0 at home to bottom club Stenhousemuir.
Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ross County were held to a 0-0 draw by Partick Thistle in Dingwall but the Jags are now bottom of the table after Falkirk defeated Dunfermline Athletic 1-0 at East End Park. Alloa made it four straight wins by beating Queen of the South 1-0 at the Indodrill Stadium to climb to sixth in the table.
Clyde closed the gap on Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Peterhead to four points thanks to two late goals in a 2-1 victory at Edinburgh City as the Blue Toon drew 1-1 with Albion Rovers at Balmoor. Annan Athletic sealed a play-off place after a late comeback earned them a 2-2 draw with Stirling Albion at Forthbank. Queen's Park won 3-0 away to bottom club Berwick Rangers and Cowdenbeath saw off Elgin City 2-1 at Central Park.
