Arbroath player/manager Paul Sheerin insists they have not given up hope of avoiding the drop despite being seven points adrift at the foot of League 1 with four games to play.
He said: “We are in a difficult position but I have taken great heart from the way the players have refused to run away from it. They are battling for everything and we have been really unlucky to only have one point after our games against Rangers and Stenhousemuir.
“Not one player has chucked it and I am sure that attitude will remain in place over the next four games. If we go down, it will not be because anyone has thrown in the towel.”
