Ayr go top as County held

A round-up of Tuesday night's games in the Ladbrokes Championship

Ayr United returned to the top of the table with a 3-0 win over Alloa Athletic at Somerset Park, helped by a Lawrence Shankland double.

Ross County slipped to second as they were held to a 1-1 draw at bottom club Falkirk - Iain Vigurs rescued a point for the Staggies with 12 minutes left.

Inverness CT remain unbeaten since March but drew for the sixth game in a row, this time 2-2 with Dunfermline Athletic in the Highland capital. Aidan Keena twice had the Pars ahead but Riccardo Calder then Jordan White equalised for ICT.

Morton moved level on points with Queen of the South thanks to a stunning late goal from Reece Lyon in a 2-1 victory at Palmerston.
