Ayr go top as County held

Ayr United returned to the top of the table with a 3-0 win over Alloa Athletic at Somerset Park, helped by a Lawrence Shankland double.

Ross County slipped to second as they were held to a 1-1 draw at bottom club Falkirk - Iain Vigurs rescued a point for the Staggies with 12 minutes left.

Inverness CT remain unbeaten since March but drew for the sixth game in a row, this time 2-2 with Dunfermline Athletic in the Highland capital. Aidan Keena twice had the Pars ahead but Riccardo Calder then Jordan White equalised for ICT.
