Berwick Rangers have announced that their oldest surviving player, Tommy Newlands, has passed away at the age of 102.
Newlands signed for the club in 1946 when they were in the East of Scotland League and played for three seasons, with the highlight being a 1947 Scottish Qualifying Cup final success over Stranraer.
Newlands played for the Army during the Second World War, with occasional performances for Fauldhouse United.
