The Testimonial Dinner for the man who put James McFadden on his way to International glory and a place in the English Premiership is being held this Saturday, October 9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow. Motherwell star spotter Bobby Jenks, who also tried to entice Neil Lennon to Fir Park after spotting him as a teenager as well as discovering Phil O’Donnell and Stephen Craigan, is being honoured with the entertainment being provided by Tam Cowan, Craig Brown and Jimmy Nicholl.
Jenks also worked with Hearts, Dunfermline and the SFA and a small number of tickets are still available by contacting the testimonial committee on 07801 537249.
