Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic will be playing in cinch League 2 next season after beating Cowdenbeath 4-0 in aggregate in the pyramid play-off final.
Robbie Horn's side led 3-0 from the first leg at New Dundas Park and secured a 1-0 win at Central Park thanks to a Neil Martyniuk penalty after 62 minutes.
Cowdenbeath had won two previous play-off finals but have now lost their SPFL status and will be playing in the Lowland League in 2022/23.
Neil Doncaster, SPFL chief executive, said: “I would like to warmly congratulate Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic on winning the pyramid play-off final.
“They have performed at such a consistent level throughout the Lowland League season and were worthy champions. We look forward to welcoming Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic to cinch League 2 for the first-time next season.
“We would also like to send our commiserations to everyone at Cowdenbeath, who have been a much-valued member of the SPFL for many years.”
