Calderwood leaves Chattanooga

Former Albion Rovers player looks for new club in homeland

Former Motherwell and Albion Rovers full back John Calderwood is to say cheerio to Chattanooga and return to Scottish football after six years playing in the United States. The 26-year-old is out to find a new club in his homeland after spells at Shorter University as well as Atlanta and Chattanooga.

Calderwood said, “I have recently finished my Scholarship in the U.S and I am looking for an opportunity to play at the senior level back home. I participated in the Professional soccer championship and the ‘Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup’ where I competed against professional opposition and reckon I can do a good job for a club in Scotland.”
