St. Johnstone have confirmed that it has parted company with manager Callum Davidson.
Davidson had been in charge at McDiarmid Park since the summer of 2020 and led the club to both the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup titles in season 2020/21.
A legendary figure with Saints as a player, assistant manager and manager, Davidson’s final match in charge ended in a 2-0 defeat to Livingston.
St. Johnstone sit ninth in the cinch Premiership table with 32 points from 32 matches.
Steven MacLean has been placed in interim charge of the team ahead of Saturday’s home match against Hibernian.
