Hamilton Accies today confirmed captain Martin Canning as their new manager after the recent departure of Alex Neil to Norwich City.
The 33-year-old ex-Ross County and Gretna defender, who has been in interim charge in recent games, said: "Going into management was something I always wanted to do.
"Who knows if it's too soon or the right time or the wrong time - you'll never know until you actually go ahead and do it. For me, it was a no-brainer to take it and we'll just see how things go."
Former player Chris Swailes has been named assistant manager and Guillaume Beuzelin, who was No 2 at Dumbarton, is the new head coach.
Brian Potter arrives from Dunfermline as goalkeeping coach and midfielder Dougie Imrie starts his coaching career, working with the U17 squad.
Accies are fifth in the Premiership as they prepare to face Inverness CT at New Douglas Park on Saturday, with admission just 10p for all fans.
