William Hill Premiership

Celtic maintain lead at the top

Celtic remain eight points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership thanks to a 4-1 home win over Motherwell on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers' side retained their 100% home record in domestic games this season thanks to an Odsonne Edouard double and goals from Scott Sinclair and Oliver Burke. Gboly Ariyibi netted for the Steelmen, who had won their previous six Premiership matches.

In the early game, second-placed Rangers thrashed Hamilton Accies 5-0 at the Hope CBD Stadium. Ryan Jack, Jermain Defoe, Scott Arfield and James Tavernier (penalty) all scored in the first half and Kyle Lafferty added a late fifth for Steven Gerrard’s team.
