Ange Postecoglou's side go into the game with six wins out of six in the cinch Premiership, the latest of which was 4-0 over Rangers on Saturday.
The Hoops will also face Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk in their section.
Rangers begin their Group A matches on Wednesday, with an away fixture against Ajax, kick-off 5.45pm. Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men beat PSV Eindhoven in the play-offs to reach this stage of the competition.
The Ibrox club's other Group A opponents are Liverpool and Napoli.
The top two from each Champions League group qualify for the last 16, with third-placed clubs taking part in the Europa League knock-out round play-offs.
