St. Mirren have appointed Craig McLeish as the club's permanent manager after securing their place in the William Hill Premiership for 2026/27.
McLeish took interim charge for the end of the 2025/26 campaign following Stephen Robinson's departure to Aberdeen and he led the Buddies to safety via a play-off victory over Partick Thistle.
The 36-year-old will now have the change to build his own team with the Buddies after signing a contract until 2029.
McLeish told the club's website: "We've achieved a lot over this last period, and we have to now look at what we do and how we operate as a club.
"A lot of that will be about developing our own young players and giving them more opportunities. I think with my knowledge of the players coming through and how much I trust them, I don't think there would be a better person to go down that route as well.
