Dundee claimed second place in the Scottish Championship with a 2-0 win at Queen of the South thanks to a Jason Cummings double.
Dunfermline Athletic went down 1-0 to relegated Alloa Athletic at the Indodrill Stadium while their Fife rivals Raith Rovers - who they meet in the play-offs - were beaten 4-0 by champions Heart of Midlothian at Stark's Park.
Ayr United secured their Championship status with a 2-2 draw at Inverness CT and Arbroath did likewise with a 0-0 draw against Morton at Gayfield, which means the Greenock side are facing the relegation play-offs.
