Annan boss Jim Chapman has released 9 players and sent 3 loan players back to their parent clubs as he begins plans for his first pre-season in charge of the Galabank club.
Among those leaving the Black and Golds is long serving goalkeeper Craig Summersgill with Club Chairman Henry McClelland saying “Craig is one of the original players who joined us at the start of our SFL journey in 2008. He was awarded the Player of the Year Award at the end of our first season, was a big part of all our 'historic firsts'.”
“He made over 100 appearances for us and we thank him for being with us at such a great time.”
The other departures are Johnathan Blake, Clyde bound Michael Daly, Andrew Donley, Lewis Hawke, Jordan McKechnie, David Murray, Graeme Ramage and John Watson.
Returning to their parent clubs after the end of their loan deals are Dumbarton’s Martin McNiff, Harry Monaghan of Hibs, and Ian Chisholm of Arthurlie juniors.
McClelland added: “We would like to thank all of the players and wish them well in the future.
