Matt O’Riley was the top performer in cinch Premiership Fantasy Football as the Denmark midfielder earned players 34.1 points.
O’Riley found the net in the second half and set up David Turnbull before the interval as Brendan Rodgers’ side started their campaign with a 4-2 win over Ross County.
Managers who invested in Celtic players saw a good return with Turnbull’s scoring brace seeing the midfielder earn 31.8 points while last season’s cinch Premiership top scorer, Kyogo Furuhashi scoring 28.4 points as he got off the mark for the campaign.
St Mirren skipper Mark O’Hara was also a high scorer as his penalty conversion and assist for Toyosi Olusanya brought in a cool 30 points as the Buddies triumphed in the capital.
It was also a good weekend for Hearts as goalkeeper Zander Clark celebrated a clean sheet against his former club, St. Johnstone to earn 32 points while goalscorers Lawrence Shankland and Yutaro Oda recorded 28 and 26.8 points respectively.
Players who made the investment in Kilmarnock goalkeeper Will Dennis were rewarded as the Rugby Park men kept Rangers out at Rugby Park with the on-loan Bournemouth shot stopper also winning 30 points on his Premiership bow.
