A big Saturday in the cinch Premiership kicked off at midday as Celtic bounced back from an early setback to defeat Hearts 4-1 in Glasgow, Motherwell took the advantage in the battle for Europe as they defeated Ross County in Dingwall thanks to a Kevin van Veen penalty, St. Mirren defeated Dundee 2-0 in Paisley, Aberdeen shared the points with Hibernian at Easter Road in a 1-1 draw, and St. Johnstone and Livingston drew 1-1 at the Tony Mac.
