Ross County’s former coach, Gordon Connelly, has been appointed as the new manager of Wick Academy after Barry Wilson left to take over at Elgin City.
Connelly played in over 300 games for County, scoring a century of goals, and later became part of the backroom staff at the Dingwall club.
He linked up with Wilson at Wick after leaving Ross County when they were promoted to the top flight as he could not convert to a full-time role.
