Peterhead’s recent home game with Annan may have lasted only 21 minutes before it was abandoned but it has cost them the services of midfielder Dean Cowie for the next four weeks.
The 26-year-old broke a metatarsal in the meeting 10 days ago and now faces a month out, with Balmoor boss Jim McInally saying: “It is disappointing news as Dean has been playing well and adds a great deal of grit to our midfield.”
