Crease looking to enjoy rest of 2011

Berwick boss delighted with first win

Jimmy CreaseBerwick Rangers manager Jimmy Crease is hoping that his men are now going to enjoy 2011 after finally winning for the first time this year when they defeated Montrose 1-0 on Tuesday. Crease said, “This was our first win this year so it is good to get that monkey off our backs and look to build on it throughout 2011. We have had a dreadful few months and hopefully this is a turning point.”

Creased freshened things up in his side by bringing in Ian Little and David Greenhill for Darren Gribben and Damon Gray and he explained his actions saying, “Changing the forward line may have surprised some people but it worked. Ian and David both did well and it all comes down to making the best use of the squad. Some of the players might not like it, but we could be facing burn-out with the amount of games we still have to play.”

Gribben will miss out again this weekend against Albion Rovers through suspension.
