Crooks joins Junior side

Challenge Cup Final winner moves to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy

Striker Jason Crooks, who netted the penalty that won the Challenge Cup for Ross County in 2006 against Clyde, as an 18-year-old debutant, has joined Junior side Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

The now 24-year-old left Dingwall after failing to build on his fine start and spent several years with Elgin City before joining Albion Rovers in the summer.

Crooks never settled in Coatbridge and scored only once before being released earlier this month.
