Dundee have ensured that former Celtic winger Nicky Riley will remain at the club after the 25-year-old signed a new one year deal at the club.
Riley first became a Dark Blue in the summer of 2010 and he has featured in over 60 games for the Dens Park club scoring 7 goals, as well as winning the IRN-BRU Phenomenal Player of the Month in November 2011.
Dundee manager Barry Smith said, “I am glad that Nicky has opted to stay here as everyone knows how highly thought of he is at the club. He will be a significant part of the squad to push for promotion next season.”
Riley added, “I am absolutely delighted to continue playing for this club and I am looking to be part of something special here at Dens Park.”
Dundee Chief Executive Officer Scott Gardiner said, “I am delighted that we have secured the services of Nicky as he is another important part of our plans. We were very aware of the interest from several other Clubs.”
“Nicky shares our belief that the Club is heading in the right direction.”
