Dundee beat Dundee United 4-2 this afternoon to claim their first win at Tannadice since 2004 and move five points clear of bottom club St Johnstone.
Tony Docherty's team led 3-1 at the break thanks to a Jordan McGhee double and a Scott Tiffoney goal, with Glenn Middleton on target for the hosts.
Kristijan Trapanovski made it 3-2 early in the second half but Simon Murray sealed the victory with a stoppage-time penalty after Emmanuel Adegboyega was sent off.
