Heart of Midlothian manager, Derek McInnes, has been named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month, marking an impressive start to his tenure at the club.
Under McInnes’ leadership, Heart of Midlothian delivered an unbeaten league run throughout August, earning 10 points from a possible 12 with victories over Aberdeen, Dundee United and Livingston, as well as coming from behind to draw with Motherwell in a six-goal thriller.
Hearts sit level on points at the top of the table with reigning champions Celtic, with McInnes' men due to face Rangers and Falkirk during September.
McInnes said: "It’s nice to win an award but it’s really all about the team’s performances.
"We've had a good start, and hopefully we can build on it, but any individual award is down to good staff and players, and the team doing well."
