Aberdeen full-back Scott Rumsby, who has been on loan at Stranraer, looks set for a spell on the sidelines due to a stomach muscle injury.
The 19-year-old has been a stand-out for the Stair Park side since joining on a temporary basis back in August but manager Stephen Aitken is waiting for news of the player’s injury, which could see the six-month loan deal terminated early.
Aitken said: “Scott is back in Aberdeen getting his injury looked at. We are not sure at this stage if surgery is required but if it is he is unlikely to feature for us again.”
