Queen of the South have added 6 foot 2 inch striker Sam Parkin to their squad on a deal until the end of the season following his release from St. Johnstone. The 29-year-olds time at Perth was ruined by a broken ankle he sustained last February however he did manage 5 goals in 23 appearances.
Doonhamer manager Gus McPherson, “Sam will be a good addition to our squad as he has a good physical presence. He will be in our squad to face Morton this weekend and he is also eligible to face Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup.”
