The frontrunners in the Clydesdale Bank U19 League were both forced to come from behind to salvage draws in their weekend games.

Leaders Hibernian preserved their unbeaten record when Oliver Russell (pictured) struck just after half-time in a 1-1 home draw with Neil Cooper's Aberdeen.

At Murray Park, Archie Campbell scored his eighth goal of the season 13 minutes from time as second-placed Rangers were held 1-1 by David Longwell's St Mirren, who had taken a first-half lead through Paul Quinn.

In a rearranged match at Riccarton, Hearts edged out Hamilton Accies 4-3. Mark Cowan grabbed the winner with 16 minutes left - his ninth goal of the campaign takes him to the top of the scoring charts. Michael Deland (2) and Arvydas Novikovas were also on target for Hearts while Fraser Team, Brian McQueen and Alister Crawford replied for Accies.
