Dumbarton have extended the contract of attacking midfielder Jordan Kirkpatrick, who has had an impressive first 6 months at the club until the end of next season.
The former Hamilton Accies 22 year old, who had two ultimately unsuccessful trial spells at English Championship side Burnley a year ago after leaving the Accies after 6 years, joined the Sons in the summer after ending last season with Airdrie.
Dumbarton boss Ian Murray said: “Jordan has become a regular in our team and I am delighted with his contribution. Offering him an extension was an easy decision to make and all parties are delighted that it has been agreed.”
