Elgin bring in experienced Ross County midfielder

Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Russell Duncan has joined Third Division Peterhead on loan just a year after playing in the SPL.

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally said, “I am a bit short bodies wise so I was delighted to get Russell on board. It is a win-win situation as we get the use of an experienced player and he keeps match fit and returns to Ross County ready to fight for a place.”

Duncan made his debut in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Elgin, nearly 12 years after playing for the Borough Briggs club on loan from his first club Aberdeen.
