Dundee beat Inverness CT 2-1 at Dens Park on Tuesday evening to move back into the play-off places in the Scottish Championship.
Max Anderson opened the scoring after 10 minutes and Jason Cummings added a second goal for James McPake's men just before half-time.
Nikolay Todorov pulled one back for Caley Thistle with 15 minutes left but Dundee held on to end a run of four games without a victory.
