Dundee have signed 31-year-old midfielder Stephen Hughes until the end of the season.
The former Rangers, Leicester, Motherwell and Norwich City player left Aberdeen in the summer and signed for East Fife in October.
Dark Blues boss John Brown has now brought Hughes to Dens Park, where he links up with fellow new signing, on-loan Motherwell defender Adam Cummins.
Chief Executive Scot Gardiner told the club website: “Stephen’s desire to join Dundee and his experience and creativity will be invaluable in the second half of the season. We are looking to add more quality players like Stephen and Adam to the squad, hopefully before the weekend.”
