East Fife have appointed Stevie Crawford as their new manager following the recent departure of long-serving boss Darren Young.
The former Scotland striker was in charge of Dunfermline Athletic until the end of last season and was more recently assistant to Gary Naysmith at Edinburgh City.
Chairman Jim Stevenson told the club website: “I am delighted Stevie has accepted our offer to return to the club as our new manager. We received a number of applications from high-profile candidates but, after speaking to Stevie, we are confident we have selected the right person to take the club forward.”
Crawford was player/manager at East Fife more than a decade ago and now returns to Methil, with the club currently bottom of the cinch League 1 table.
