Elgin City are second in Ladbrokes League 2 after beating Montrose 4-1 at Borough Briggs on Saturday.
The visitors had Terry Masson sent off early on and Elgin took advantage in the second half with goals from Archie MacPhee, Chris McLeish, Shane Sutherland and Brian Cameron. Michael Bolochoweckyj scored for Montrose.
Kris Renton netted with four minutes remaining as Cowdenbeath defeated Clyde 1-0 at Central Park to move up to sixth.
Edinburgh City are off the bottom of the table after beating Arbroath 1-0 at Gayfield with a late goal from Ouzy See.
