William Hill Premiership

Fantasy Football: Your GW13 Preview

Can you collect points before November’s international break?

Will GW13 bring you fortune in cinch Premiership Fantasy Football?

Here are some elements to look out for ahead of this weekend’s matches.

Dundee v St. Mirren

Two of the Premiership’s in-form goalkeepers, Trevor Carson and Zach Hemming, go head-to-head at Dens Park.

Carson departed Paisley for Dundee this summer and he’s been instrumental in a Dark Blues defence, which has kept four clean sheets in their last five league games.

Hemming is the best performing goalkeeper outside of Glasgow, claiming 129 points to date.

Hibernian v Kilmarnock

Hibernian came so close to their first win since the end of September in midweek, only to be denied by Lewis Jamieson’s injury-time goal.

Josh Campbell was on target in the draw with St. Mirren and with 21 points – he was Hibernian’s highest scoring player in GW12.

The capital club are unbeaten in nine home league matches against Killie – with the Ayrshire side’s last league triumph at Easter Road coming in May 2014.

October’s Manger of the Month Derek McInnes says he’s searching for solutions to Kilmarnock’s away form with two points collected from five matches outside Ayrshire this term.

Corrie Ndaba could return to the defence following an Achilles injury while Fantasy bosses will be eager to hear Kyle Vassell’s fitness status after the Killie captain was forced off with a knock against Motherwell.

Motherwell v Heart of Midlothian

The Steelmen showed fight to battle back from 2-0 down at McDiarmid Park on Tuesday night to claim a 2-2 draw with St. Johnstone.

Mika Biereth has four goals in five cinch Premiership appearances so is it time to add the on-loan Arsenal man to your line up?

The Steelmen will be without young star Lennon Miller for the next three months while Paul McGinn faces six weeks on the sidelines with a facial injury sustained against Kilmarnock.

Victory at Fir Park could see Hearts rise into the top four and Steven Naismith will hope skipper Lawrence Shankland can continue his recent scoring run with three goals in his last four games.

St. Johnstone v Ross County

St. Johnstone started the Craig Levein era with a home draw and they’ll be looking to gain a first win under their new boss when Ross County come to town.

Chris Kane and Nicky Clark’s partnership has borne fruit for Saints after their respective returns from knocks with Clark scoring three goals in two games to double the club’s Premiership points tally.

County head down the A9 without the suspended James Brown following last weekend’s red card against Celtic.

Malky Mackay praised Scott Allardice’s contribution to the Staggies in recent weeks and with 310 minutes of Premiership football under his belt, could the former Inverness CT man be finding his feet in the top division?

Livingston v Rangers – Live on Sky Sports

The first of Sunday’s double header comes from the Tony Macaroni Arena as Livi host Rangers in a lunchtime kick-off.

David Martindale’s men were left frustrated after losing 1-0 to Dundee last time out but can they find the formula to start moving up the table?

James Tavernier could overtake Matt O’Riley as the game’s highest scoring player while October’s Player of the Month Abdallah Sima has been a popular pick for Fantasy Football managers in recent weeks.

Celtic v Aberdeen – Live on Sky Sports

League leaders Celtic and Viaplay Cup finalists Aberdeen bring the curtain down on GW13 this Sunday afternoon in Glasgow.

David Turnbull has put 122 points on the board from his 491 league minutes so far while Luis Palma has three goals and two assists to his name as his influence increases on this Celtic side.

Bojan Miovski was the Aberdeen hero at Hampden and he found the net against Brendan Rodgers’ team in the season’s first meeting between the teams at Pittodrie.

Excluding players from the league’s top two sides, Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong is the only midfielder to score more points than Jamie McGrath. The 27-year-old’s energy and ability to shoot from distance could be key for the Reds this Sunday.

Make sure and select your full squad and bench before Saturday’s 3pm deadline.
