Ferguson's return delayed by big freeze

The wintry weather that has set in recently has knocked back Alloa midfielder Brown Ferguson’s hopes of making a first team return this month.

Ferguson has been out all season following surgery on an ankle injury and was making good progress with Recreation Park boss Allan Maitland hopeful that the player would return in December, however missing two weeks of training has stalled the 29 year olds progress with Maitland saying, “Our pitch was cleared for the Peterhead game last Saturday, however the players had not trained properly for 11 days beforehand. That has slowed things up for Brown but hopefully not for too long.”
